1. Create groups containing meshes such as Gimbal or Optics shown here
2. Create a solution that will use a subset of the model. Here it is called Optics.
3. Edit advanced solver options
4. Go to the Export Options tab and expand the Subset Export dialog block
5. Use the Optics group as the only group to export
When solving you will have to turn OFF the Model Setup Check as it will issue an error
ERROR
Model Setup Check cannot be performed when the Subset Export or Bulk Data
Section Output
Options are modified.
Disable Model Setup Check or set the Advanced Solver Options Subset Export
toggle to
"Full Model" and select all toggles under the Bulk Data Section Output
Options.
You will have to assure that your model is properly constrained and such for the subset export on your
own.
