Electronic Health Record (Patient Registration)
This module captures general information about the patient. When a new patient comes to the
Clinic or Hospital his details are captured. These include but are not limited to Patient Names,
Date of Birth, Gender, Blood Type, Contact Information (Telephone, email), and Address.
Records of existing patients registered through paper based files can be imported though the
system manually for small or medium scale medical centers. Larger establishments or medical
centers with large volumes of data can purchase a scanner which will automate this process.

Recording a Patient Visit
Appointment Booking & Management
A patient can book an appointment through the medical centers website. An existing patient will
use their username and password provided to them at the medical center. New patients can
register and a hospital administrator approves their account. The appointment booking process
requires a patient to select a preferred date and time, and s/he has to indicate the purpose of
the medical visit. They can optionally select a preferred doctor. A patient can also select a
Category for the visit e.g. Dental, Optical, Lab, General Consultation depending on the available
services the medical center provides. Upon completion of the appointment booking by the
patient, a designated health care worker for the medical practice receives an email notification
for the booking. At this stage the booking can be confirmed, denied or rescheduled.
Patient Visits & Reports
Patient visits are recorded by the health practitioner (Doctor, Dentist or Nurse).
Doctor Reports
Doctor reports are automatically generated based on patient visits. These reports are
searchable, i.e. the system can determine how many patient visits occurred in a specific
duration e.g. Month, year by a single health practitioner (Doctor, Nurse or Dentist)
Medical Inventory Management
Proper medical inventory management within healthcare centers, hospitals and clinics is crucial
to quality patient care. Our web based system is designed to handle medical supplies
procurement and record keeping.
