OBJECTIVE 1-1: By June 2014, there will be a decrease in school related suspensions and behaviors leading to suspensions. 1. The physical conditions in which education takes place (location, buildings, classrooms). Objective 2-1 By June 2014 all entrance and exit points to LBHS will be under more strict observance by hall monitors, administration and staff. 1. Related Activities: Ensure the safety of all staff and students by performing a vulnerability study and designing adequate response. Frequent reminders for students and staff regarding policies. 2. Timeline for implementation 2013-2014 school year Objective 2-2 By June 2014 the East parking lot will be striped for parking and direction of travel. It will also be visibly marked at the entrance as STAFF PARKING and prohibiting student drop off. 1. Related Activities: Post new signs, such as “Staff parking only” ,“No student drop off” , “Pull to side and park for pick up and drop off”. Create a safer environment for students and staff as they enter and exit school by lowering the traffic congestion and improving pedestrian flow. Monitor lot, access, and Luther Drive during drop off and pick up times (before and after school). 2. Resources needed: District Equipment and Personnel. Signs. 3.
