2016 – Mixed Table Tennis Championships

TIME:
10am – 2.30pm (approx)
VENUES:
Table Tennis Centres located in the metropolitan area at Brighton, Newton and Woodville
& country centres at Port Lincoln, Jamestown & Murray Bridge
After all entries have been received, venues will be decided on the basis of the number of
teams and the travelling involved.
Teams can consist of Boys and or Girls – ranked in order of merit.
Schools may enter more than one team.
FORMAT:
1.
The successful school/s from each venue will play in a Grand Final on Friday 27th May at 10am
with venue TBA.
2.
Schools may enter no more than four teams
3.
A team shall consist of 4 players ranked in order of merit and each player will play the
corresponding number in the opposition side.
4.
A match will consist of three 11 point (advantage) games, with 2 serves each alternating.
(Both doubles and singles).
5.
The competition will consist of one mixed grade.
SUPERVISION:
Each team must have a supervisor who will be needed to umpire doubles matches while the players
shall umpire the singles matches.
Table Tennis SA understands that your school will follow appropriate procedures for taking students on
an excursion as set out by your school including the completion of relevant permission forms.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Centres will be supervised by Table Tennis SA Officials.
An email will be sent to participating schools with notification of all details including the venue
immediately after the entries closing date. Medallions will be awarded to the winners on the finals day.
