Agribusiness Association of Iowa Foundation Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
<INSERT COMPANY NAME>, a member of the Agribusiness Association of Iowa (AAI), is happy to
announce that the Agribusiness Association of Iowa Foundation (AAI Foundation) is accepting
applications for the Winton Etchen Scholarship.
Winton Etchen was the Executive Director of the Iowa Fertilizer and Chemical Association from 1964 –
1988. The goal of this scholarship is to identify and recognize outstanding students who plan to pursue
careers in agriculture and/or a related field.
The Winton Etchen Scholarship program is open to students who will be freshman enrolled in the College
of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University (ISU) during the 2012-2013 academic year. The
winner of the scholarship will be awarded $1,000 to be used for tuition and is eligible to receive an
additional $250 for the next three years if they continue the pursuit of a degree awarded by ISU’s College
of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
One of the requirements of this scholarship is to be sponsored by an AAI Member. Please contact

Additional information about the scholarship, eligibility criteria and an application form can be found by
clicking the AAI Foundation link located on AAI’s website, www.agribiz.org. In order to be considered for
this scholarship the application and all supporting materials must be postmarked by Saturday, April 14,
2012 and mailed to the AAI Foundation’s office.
