Instructional Coaching Support
Coaching support can be provided through Learning Coaches, Master Teachers, PLC
Coaches, PAR CT, PIT Crew.
Learning coaches- One on one support to teachers assigned to their caseload.
Master Teachers- Teachers not assigned to LC via formal/informal observations, adhoc coaching, reflective practice, and small group PD.
PLC Coaches- Team based coaching, formal/informal observations and school-wide
PD.
PAR CT- One on one support in PAR Schools, school-wide and small group PD in concert
with PLC Coaches, and informal/formal observations of teachers assigned to their
caseload.
PIT Crew-School-wide informal and formal observations, school wide and small group
PD in concert with PLC Coaches, and manage and support Learning Coaches and
Master Teachers.
Initial Coaching Conversation (ICC)
 ICCs are assigned at the beginning of the school year based on last year’s data. ICC
support is in advance of the first observation.
 Overall TEM composite score not meeting expectations (Level ½ track).
 Yearly average TEM observation score not meeting expectations.
 Tripod scores not meeting expectations.
 Individual TVAAS scores.
ICCs will automatically be populated for teachers with an overall TEM composite of 1 or 2.

Personal Learning Plan (PLP)
 PLPs will be assigned after completion of the first observation or any subsequent
observations.
 Two or more indicators below expectations on individual TEM observation.
 PLP 6-week report cycle dates: October 15, December 2, January 28, and March 12.
