Terms and Conditions ‘Where is Marloo at Perth Zoo?’ Competition’ Information on how to enter this promotion (the “Competition Draw”) and the corresponding prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Competition Draw is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This Competition Draw relates to the completion of the ‘Where is Marloo at Perth Zoo?’ competition entry form by correctly identifying Marloo the Red kangaroo at six different locations within Perth Zoo. Completed forms must be entered into the ‘Where is Marloo at Perth Zoo?’ entry box located at the Information Centre at Perth Zoo. This promotion is open between 9:00am WST on 1 July 2012 until 5:00pm WST on 8 July 2012 (“Promotion Period”) and entries must be received by Perth Zoo within this time period. There will be one winner, decided through one draw. The winner will be eligible for one prize “The Prize”. Perth Zoo will attempt to notify the winning Eligible Entrant via phone on Tuesday 10 July 2012, and will attempt to contact them 3 times only up until Friday 13 July, at which point Perth Zoo reserves the right to redraw. The Competition Draw will be individually judged according to its merits on the basis of skill, originality and creativity as determined by Perth Zoo in their sole discretion. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Eligible Entrants must satisfy the requirements as outlined below: Entry is only open to residents currently residing in Australia Eligible Entrants must currently be enrolled as a student in their kindergarten, primary or secondary level of education. Eligible Entrants must have successfully identified Marloo the Red Kangaroo at six different locations within Perth Zoo and provided correct personal details and submitted the ‘Where is Marloo?’ entry form at the entry box located at the Information Centre at Perth Zoo during the 1 July 2012 – 8 July 2012 promotion period. Management and employees and volunteers (and their immediate families) of Perth Zoo are not eligible to enter and will be excluded from the prize draw. The Prize: The winning entrant will receive a ‘Where is Marloo?’ plush toy and an education experience for his/her class (maximum 32 students). Please note, transportation to and from Perth Zoo is not included. One Discovery and Learning education experience is valid for one classroom and at least 1 teacher must be present. Perth Zoo provides a, free of charge, supervision ratio of 1 teacher: 10 students. Minimum age to participate in the experience is 8 years. Prize valued at $390.45 The teacher of the winning student must contact the Perth Zoo Discovery and Learning centre on (08) 9474 0365 or email discoveryandlearning@perthzoo.wa.gov.au to book a mutually agreed time and date for the education experience by 24 October 2012. The teacher of the winning student must identify him/herself as the teacher of the winning student of the ‘Where is Marloo at Perth Zoo?’ Competition at the time of booking. The prize is valid until 14/12/2012. If Perth Zoo is unable to provide a winner with any element of a nominated prize, Perth Zoo reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value, subject to relevant State and Territory legislation. Any entrant who, in the opinion of Perth Zoo, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will not be eligible to win the Competition Draw. The judge’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. Perth Zoo reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these competition conditions.
