Crowned as our Dear Parents/Carers, Welcome back to the second half of the Spring Term. It was strange to be off when all other Local Authorities were in but it did mean some bargain holidays were to be had and attractions were quiet. Star Pupils this week This week, on Ash Wednesday, the children took part in a Service and received the sign of the cross in ashes on their forehead. They have all made Lenten promises which are displayed in the hall and corridor on crosses. Some children have pledged to be good at home or help with jobs. It may be worth asking them what their Lenten promise is so it is adhered to! Reception Station of the Cross. Thursdays in Lent 8.45am Each year I lead a short Stations of the Cross service for children and any parents who wish to join in. Each Thursday I focus on 3 stations and children read short prayers and medications. Year 2 A visit to Kimberley’s Tea Rooms for Pancakes.
