This contract made by and between Ruth Hanselpacker of Aileron Stables (“Stallion
Owner”) and _________________ (“Mare Owner”) on the _

do hereby contract as follows. Mare owner reserves a breeding to the 1997 Registered
Hanoverian Stallion Schwarzenegger (Sion/Calypso II/Graphit) Registration number DE
3331310203397 for the 2015 breeding season.

Mare owner agrees to pay Stallion Owner the following fees:
Breeding Fees: 1,500 + 125 (collection fee) + HST = 1,852.50 cdn.
***Early Bird Discount: 1,200 + 125 collection fee + hst = 1,510.50 if paid in-full before
December 1st, 2014.
a) A Stallion Service Fee of $1,200.00 is due prior to the shipment of semen.
(*Refundable only if stallion dies or becomes unfit for service prior to servicing the
mare.)
b) Collection Fee of $125 (Disposable shipping container included)
The breeding can be sold to another party once the new mare has been cleared by the
stallion owner.
Return service is offered if the foal dies before 7 days old.
Embryo transfers are permitted; the mare owner will not be charged a second stud fee if a
second embryo is recovered from the same flush.
The mare owner is responsible for the cost of the shipping and any additional shipping
containers (35$). .
The Mare Owner may not substitute another mare for breeding without prior written
consent of the Stallion Owner. The semen is only meant for the mare described above.
If there is a great demand for a certain day, breeding priority will be given to the earliest
booked mares. Have your vet call us to let us know when semen is needed. Ideally we
would like to know 24 hours before we need to collect. Fedex and Purolator offer
overnight service from our location.
Mares will be artificially inseminated by a Veterinarian or qualified technician.
The Mare Owner shall assume all responsibility for the condition of the mare and shall
bare all risk of loss or damage to the mare whether by death, disease, injury, infection or
otherwise, and by any cause whatsoever, and therefore holds harmless the Stallion Owner
or farm personnel for any and all damages associated there within.
Diligent effort will be made to settle the mare, however, if the mare does not settle, the
Stallion Owner will not be held liable for any losses suffered by the Mare Owner.
Mare Owner will provide a photo of the mare (with the contract) and a photo of the foal
to the Stallion Owner at some point prior to the foal’s first year.
Fees are subject to HST (except U.S. residents).
Endorsement of this agreement by both parties represents a binding contract, subject to
all of the terms and conditions.

Payment can be made via email money transfer, personal cheque, money order, or Paypal
(additional 3% service fee will be charged). Personal cheques must clear prior to semen
being shipped. Please make cheques payable to Ruth Hanselpacker.
