Alice M. and Wesley H. Oliver Memorial Scholarship
About the Scholarship:
Established through a generous donation from Alice M. and Wesley H. Oliver. A scholarship fund has
been created for Seniors of South Nodaway R-IV High School. The scholarship is available to all South
Nodaway Seniors who meet the application requirements. The scholarship award will be paid directly to
the recipients post-secondary school of attendance in the amount of $1,500*, and is renewable for up to
4 years.
Initial Scholarship Requirements:






Senior at South Nodaway R-IV High School
Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
Must demonstrate financial need
Have no previous record of drug and/or alcohol use
Show proof of admission to an accredited Post-Secondary School of Study (2 or 4 year college or
university, or technical school).
Complete scholarship application in its entirety by entry deadline (Typed Applications Only!)
Renewal Requirements:


Maintain a 3.0 GPA at an accredited Post-Secondary School of Study
Continue to have no record of drug and/or alcohol use
*$750.00 of the scholarship award will be paid for each semester, upon receipt of certification of
enrollment from school. If, at any time during the course of the year, the recipient, for any reason,
leaves and does not complete his/her commitment or has a drug or alcohol violation/conviction , he/she
shall forfeit any blance remaining on the award.
