I New Education Forum Under a Honorary Patronage of the First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda November 30th-December 1st, 2015 Copernicus Science Center, Warsaw, Poland THESIS: Youth unemployment and weak motivation in the learning process. New Education Forum is an international effort responding to dynamic changes on the labor market and a poor adjustment of the education system to the pace of social and economic changes. The Forum will show transformation of the employers' expectations and their attitudes towards innovative methods of learning, stimulating self-motivation, creativity and readiness for taking responsibility of own life. This year's New Education Forum will take place in Warsaw, Poland, on November 30th and December 1st. We shall discuss issues regarding Youth unemployment and their weak of motivation in learning process. It has a significant impact on helplessness and passivity of young people in taking responsibility for one of the most important life decisions - choosing their profession. We shall begin our debate with acknowledging employers' expectations but also their participation in education programs. The Forum's bottom line will aim at designing a cooperation model for employers, teachers and school principals as important mentors for young people trying to find their place in their future, adult lives. New Education Forum will also facilitate exchanging international experiences on education’s influence on crucial decision-makings of Youth and preventing unemployment through high quality education based on experts' opinions from Poland, Germany, Austria, Spain and non-European countries, i.e. the USA. EVENT`S PROGRAM: November 30th (Monday, 9.00 am- 6.00 pm) – I New Education Forum: Workshops dedicated to school principals recommended by teachers. Motivation through finding talents and strengths, finding strengths in teachers and students; Motivation through team working, building teamwork, role of the leader, cooperation with students as teams; Motivation through formative assessment – implementation; Motivation through cooperation with outside institutions, including universities, local authorities and entrepreneurs, co-decision making in the official education, evaluation of Charter of Recommendations on cooperation formed by teachers.
