Samuel Gachuhi Mr. Speaker Sir, I beg to move the following Motion:THAT aware of the lack of or poor state of bridges in the County; That aware of the lack of or poor state of road network in the county and in particular the deplorable condition of bridges or lack thereof; Concerned that good road network and connectivity impacts positively and immensely on trade, agriculture and general social economic welfare of the residents of Nyandarua county and indeed Nyandarua county has identified road construction as a means to economic empowerment of its residents; Further concerned that continued poor road network and impassable bridges or lack thereof impacts negatively to the social economic development of the people of Nyandarua Now I therefore urge that this house do resolve the following; That the Executive committee member in charge of Public works, Roads and Transport do in the budget for the financial year 2015/2016 prioritizes the construction of culverts and bridges on our county roads.
