Position Purpose: Under the direction of the golf course superintendent, the equipment manager is responsible
for the repairing and maintenance of various gasoline- and diesel-powered golf course maintenance
equipment. The equipment manager also assists in maintaining a clean service area and maintenance
building, contributes to a preventative maintenance program, and places safety procedures as a top priority.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Communicates any needs or problems relating to maintenance or repair of equipment with the
superintendent.
2. Inspects, diagnoses, adjusts and repairs mechanical defects/failures in various pieces of golf course
maintenance equipment on a regular basis.
3. Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.
4. Sets up and modifies new equipment as needed.
5. epairs and adjusts engines and cutting mechanisms on various heavy and light mowing equipment.
Keeps maintenance equipment fueled, oiled and inspected; and performs related tasks as required.
Salary Range: $16 hourly

IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN
Programming and maintaining Rainbird Maxicom Central Computerized Irrigation system. Run daily diagnostic on
system to ensure proper functionality. Work with sports leagues and park users to program and run all sports field light
association with Maxicom. Work with contractors, park users and sports leagues to ensure conditions and irrigation is
acceptable. Report weather and irrigation conditions weekly. Extensively knowledge of general construction and
maintenance principles, practices and methods. Performs preventative maintenance and major repairs, minor electrical
and plumbing repair. Participates in emergency response team. HS Diploma with two years related experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of irrigation techniques and Maxicom
Software Training is preferred.
Hourly rate $14.74/hr to $17.00 DOQ
