Better scores are indicated by: Lower numbers (closer to 0) for HBIPS 2–4 Higher numbers (closer to 10) for HBIPS 5–7 QINS have access to a provider participation report (by year) showing the submission results by provider which will assist them in selecting hospitals Report provides facility-specific measure level data A listserv was sent out today from the NCC regarding data for IPFs and ASCs that can be downloaded from the NCC Workbench, including: A contact for the NCC Medicare-only claims counts D1 Task Per HQIS Memo # 15-007-C0, second paragraph, formal evaluation for the D1 task will be deferred for the first evaluation cycle of the contract (July 2015) In addition to all HBIPS measures for 2015, data is being collected for: SUB1 All TOB-related Question: Will there be any kind of formal training for these measures? Answer: Please refer to the educational resources posted on the Quality Reporting Center website at www.QualityReportingCenter.com for available resources. Question: What year was the Medicare Claims information for? Answer: The Medicare Claims information is for CY 2014. Question: Deferral of evaluation of the first period means the next period will be July 2016, correct? Answer: That is correct. Question: On the agenda attachment, “Web-Based Measures Set IPFQR-HBIPS State and National Data for FY 2015,” the last column refers to the rate per1,000 hours, right? Also just to confirm, HBIPs-4 scores should be low while HBIPS-5 scores should be high? Answer: That is correct. Yes, HBIPS 2–4 should be low. Question: If we do not have access to Psych Data in QualityNet, who should we contact? Answer: You should contact the QualityNet Help Desk. Question: Do you have access to the ASC contact list? Answer: We provided the list to the NCC and they were going to divide the contacts out by state. Shanita from the NCC indicated that the contact file that had been received did not include a point of contact/named individual, only facility names/addresses/phone numbers. Question: What data should we expect to be able to get for ASCs? Answer: Data for the ASCs has not yet been publicly displayed. An October 2015 timeframe is anticipated for public display of ASC data. Since receiving that feedback, CMS has made various reports available. Please continue to share concerns. Question: What is the status of the Drop-down Box” issues for QualityNet reports? Answer: QualityNet is working on the identified issues. There has been some discussion of developing a statewide report. Question: Is it possible for QualtiyNet to provide an Excel option instead of a .PDF? There are limitations to working with the .PDF. Answer: Email Elaine Krantzberg the specifics and she will work with the NCC to provide a workable solution. Question: How do we find out the identity of a facility’s Security Administrator in QualityNet? Answer: We will find the answer to this question and/or forward the request on to QualityNet. Question: Can we (the QIOs) get access to information on the Facility and National Reports that will show us if a hospital is going to fail? Answer: This is not currently in either the QIOs’ or the Inpatient Support Contractor’s scope of work. It is handled by the Validation VIQR. The information does not go to the QIO but is sent directly to the hospital. More information on how to work with hospitals regarding HCAHPS and the Medicare Spending per Beneficiary (MSPB) domains An email has already been sent to ACUMEN regarding their conducting an MSPB educational event. More information will follow. Presentation/discussion of work that has been done with ASCs during the last scope of work. e.g., understanding G-codes and making them go through; how to increase participation (only 2,000/5,800 ASCs are currently signed-up for Immunization) Questions and Closing Mary Ann Jones, IQR Project Director FMQAI/HSAG No Questions Page | 3 Action Items QINs 1. A complete file will be resent to the NCC. 2. Discover where to find/what screen on QualityNet will provide QIOs access to information regarding a facility’s Security Administrator. 3.
