Consultation
Selby District Council hereby gives notice that it intends to submit a Community Infrastructure
Levy Draft Charging Schedule for public examination, under Section 212 of the Planning Act 2008.
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Community Infrastructure Levy Regulations 2010 (as amended) Selby District Council is inviting representations on its Draft Charging Schedule.

Alongside the Draft Charging Schedule, Selby District Council has published an Addendum Report on the Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule, which sets out how comments on the Preliminary
Draft have been taken account of in preparing the Draft Charging Schedule.
Consultation Period
Monday 14 th July – 5pm Thursday 18 th September 2014
In accordance with Regulation 17 (2)(a), any representation must be made within this period.

Withdrawal of Representation
Any person making representation on the Draft Charging Schedule may withdraw those representations at any time by giving notice to Selby District Council in writing at the address above.
CIL Examination: Right to be heard
Organisations and individuals making representation may request to be heard at any related
Examination in Public, and/or to be notified, at specified address, before the end of the consultation period (5pm Thursday 18 th September)
Any person making representation may request that they be notified at a specified address of any the following:
- That the Draft Charging Schedule has been submitted to the examiner in accordance with section 212 of the Planning Act 2008,
- The publication of the recommendations of the examiner and the reasons for those recommendations, and
- The approval of the Charging Schedule by the Council
