Fees: Mare owner agrees to breed stated mare to stallion identified above for the 2011 breeding season. The stallion service fee is $850.00 which includes a non refundable booking fee of $200.00 payable with this contract and the first collection and shipping. The balance is to be paid in full prior to stallion collection. If additional collections are needed the fee will be $250.00 per collection.
Season: Breeding season begins March 1, 2011 and ends July 31, 2011. Contact us for alternate date consideration.

Vet Expenses: Mare owner is responsible for all veterinary expenses directly and indirectly related to the Insemination of the stated mare.
Mare owner must have payment arrangements with Town & Country Equine Hospital prior to mare arriving at the boarding facility. The
Flying Dollar will verify arrangements with T&C prior to receiving mare. Once all services have been rendered by T&C mare owner has one of two options: (1) pick up the mare and have a licensed equine veterinarian determine pregnancy status between 12-18 days or (2) mare will remain at boarding facility until verified in foal. Mare will not be permitted to leave the boarding facility until Town & Country
Equine Hospital issues a billing release to be presented at time of pick-up.
Mare Owner Responsibilities: Mare owner is responsible for (1) mare to be healthy, free of infection; (2) in breeding sound condition; (3) timely delivery of mare to facility; (4) all fees incurred at facility directly related to mare insemination to include board, examinations(s), medication(s), and AI procedure. Person signing this contract is the recorded mare owner or authorized agent of the mare named above.
Return Breeding: The Flying Dollar guarantees a live foal only if mare is (1) examined by a licensed equine veterinarian and (2) is determined to be in foal by licensed equine veterinarian and (3) mare owner notifies The Flying Dollar via email of pregnancy status at 16 days and again at 90 days. Non compliance may result in the loss of the option to re-breed and forfeiture of all monies paid.
Should the mare abort or the foal is stillborn, the mare owner must contact The Flying Dollar within 48 hours of death and a veterinarian’s certificate must be received within 10 days. The mare owner has the option of breeding the same mare the following season to the same stallion without stallion fees incurred but mare owner/rep will be responsible for shipping fees. The Flying Dollar reserves the right to decline a re-breed and refund the stallion service fee less the booking fee to the mare owner/rep .
All return breeding rights and fees are automatically forfeited if (1) mare is bred to any other stallion prior to the re-breed or (2) mare owner/rep chooses not to re-breed the following season or (3) if mare owner fails to pay all fees and expenses.
Warranty: Stallion manager make no warranty or guarantee that stallion will be available for collection within a certain time period.
Mare owner understands that stallion semen is available on a first-come, first served basis. While every effort will be made to AI mare with viable semen, the stallion manager makes no guarantee that the semen will safely reach the insemination point without losing integrity, quality or characteristics. Stallion manger/owner is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged containers.
Liability: Mare owner agrees to diligently try to settle mare. If, however, mare fails to settle, mare owner agrees to hold harmless and release stallion owner and affiliated persons. Mare owner agrees stallion owner and affiliated persons shall not be responsible for any disease, injury, death or accident to the mare and/or foal.
Certificates and Substitutions: Breeder’s certificates will be issued when The Flying Dollar has been notified that stated mare has foaled and all bills incurred by mare owner have been paid. Mare owner is solely responsible for seeking registration of the resulting foal. If mare dies or becomes unfit for breeding, the mare owner my use a re-breed the following season with an approved substitute mare under the same conditions stated in this contract. The Flying Dollar reserves the right to refuse any substitution.
Miscellaneous: This contract is non-assignable and non-transferable. Mare owner acknowledges that should the stallion die or become unfit for service after the mare is pronounced in foal, the stallion owner shall not be in breach of this contract and is released from all further responsibility. Mare owner further agrees that should stallion die or become permanently unfit for service prior to mare being inseminated, any monies paid toward stallion fee (less booking fee of $200) shall be refunded to the mare owner/rep.

Fees: TFD agrees to board mare and/or accompanying foal. Mare without foal is $8per day and with foal $10per day. Billing will begin on day mare is received at boarding facility. If mare arrives before 12:00 (noon) a full day’s board will be charged and if mare arrives after
12:00 (noon) one-half day will be charged. If mare is pick-up before 12:00 (noon) one-half day will be charged and if mare is pick-up after
12:00 (noon) a full day will be charged.
Mare Requirements:
1.
Mare must be halter broke and safe to handle. If for any reason TFD deems the mare to be harmful to management, helpers or other horses, owner will be contacted to make alternate housing arrangements. Owner has 24 hours to make arrangements.
2.
Mare must have a negative coggins (within 6 months) and a health certificate (within 30 days) presented before unloading from trailer. Mare owner must provide a billing release from Town & Country Equine Hospital.
Care:
1.
TFD agrees to provide adequate grain(12% sweet), hay(brome) and water on a daily basis or as directed by mare owner.
2.
TFD will provide shelter and reasonable care required to maintain the health and well being of the horse.

Illness/Emergencies:
In the event of an illness, accident or emergency, TFD will attempt to notify the mare owner before treatment, IF TIME PERMITS. If
TFD is unable to make contact with the mare owner, TFD or its veterinarian is hereby authorized to provide minimal treatment at the owner’s expense. _______ owner initials.
Release of Liability:
While mare is in the custody of TFD, mare owner shall not hold TFD liable for any sickness, disease, theft, estray, injury or death that may be suffered by the horse. It is the discretion of the owner to secure illness/mortality insurance on mare. Mare owner further agrees to hold
TFD, its management and helpers harmless from any and all claims arising from damage or injury caused by mare including but not limited to legal fees and/or expenses.
Transportation:
TFD will provide at no charge mare transportation to and from Town & Country Equine Hospital.
Vet Fees:
Mare owner agreed to pay all breeding and reproductive expenses incurred at T&C Equine Hospital prior to departure from boarding facility by presenting a receipt. If payment arrangements have been made with T&C Equine Hospital, TFD must be notified via email prior to arriving at facility and TFD will verify with T&C Equine Hospital. Specifics are not needed or wanted, just verification that arrangements have been made.
Boarding Fees:
Boarding fees are due in full prior to mare departure no exceptions . Returned checks will incur a $50 additional charge and foal registration papers will not be issued until balance is paid in full.
Mare owner has received a fee schedule from Town & Country Equine and signature acknowledges and agrees will all terms of this contract.
