Social Media Scavenger Hunt
Cousin Edition
Rules:
Each cousin has a social media task.
There are nine grandkids. You must know your age ranking in order to complete
your mission.
Social Media tools for this game include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, E-Mail and
GroupMe.
1. Find out the date of birth for each cousin and E-mail the data to the next
born.
2. Create a Google Calendar with your cousin’s birthdays. Set up the next born
as an administrator.
3. Invite all your cousins to accept the Google Calendar Birthday List (you must
compile all of their email addresses).
4. Find the middle cousin. Post an Instagram photo with all of you surrounding
that cousin in the middle.
5. Respond to the photo by tagging each cousin (you must know each cousin’s
Instagram name.
6. Find out each cousin’s best personality trait (including yourself). Send nine
Tweets giving each cousin a shout-out on Twitter (you must know each
cousin’s Twitter handle).
7. Friend each cousin on Facebook and in your settings, identify them as such.
Have each cousin confirm your status and repeat this step in his/her own
Facebook account.
8. Find out about each cousin’s most embarrassing moment in High School
(including you) Send nine text messages identifying with a brief synopsis of
their moments using GroupMe. Note: you must do this in secret and do not
reveal their name in your messages.
9. Find out which cousin each embarrassing moment belongs to and send one
GroupMe message listing their name in the order written above.
