Prostate cancer
Prostate cancer, also known as carcinoma of the prostate, is the development of cancer in the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system
Prostate
exocrine gland of the male reproductive system in most mammals
The function of the prostate is to secrete a slightly alkaline fluid, milky or white in appearance, that in humans usually constitutes roughly 30% of the volume of the semen along with spermatozoa and seminal vesicle fluid.
The alkalinity of semen helps neutralize the acidity of the vaginal tract, prolonging the lifespan of sperm.
Infant Mortality

IP7
ATP molecule is known as a storehouse of energy and fuels the physiological activities
Another equally important but lesser known molecule is IP7, which too carries high energy and regulates many processes in the cell.
Its levels in a cell are approximately thousand fold lower than those of ATP.
IP7 plays a crucial role in DNA repair, blood clotting and protein synthesis by ribosomes.
In mammals, polyphosphate is predominantly found in platelets and helps in strengthening blood clots during their formation.
Polyphosphates housed inside platelets break up during clotting. These polyphosphates and other components get released to form a mesh that constitutes the basic structure for clot.

Krishna Godavari Basin
Extensive deltaic plain formed by two large east coast rivers, Krishna and Godavari in the state of
Andhra Pradesh and the adjoining areas of Bay of Bengal in which these rivers discharge their water is known as Krishna Godavari Basin.
The Krishna Godavari Basin is a proven petroliferous basin of continental margin located on the east coast of India.
Its onland part covers an area of 15000 sq. km and the offshore part covers an area of 25,000 sq.
The basin contains about 5 km thick sediments with several cycles of deposition, ranging in age from
Late Carboniferous to Pleistocene.
The major geomorphologic units of the Krishna Godavari basin are Upland plains, Coastal plains,
Recent Flood and Delta Plains.
