Rahway High School Alumni Class of 1954 Scholarship
Rahway Guidance Department will be offering an opportunity to obtain a scholarship ($500) which will
be used for post-high school education. This award is granted by Rahway High School Alumni Class of
1954.
Eligibility Requirements:




Any RHS senior who plans to attend an accredited College/University, Trade or Technical School.
Any RHS graduating senior that has obtained a GPA of at least 2.75.
RHS student must complete an essay of at least 250 words.
Application along with essay must be submitted to the Guidance Office by MAY 1st, 2015
Essay Requirements:

Applicant must complete an essay with at least 250 words describing one of the following
topics:
o Whom or What has impacted you the most while attending Rahway High School?
o What have you experienced or learned at RHS that will impact your future educational
experiences?
Scholarship Award:


If accepted applicant will be awarded $500, payable to the College/University or trade/technical
school of attendance.
This scholarship will be awarded at Senior Awards night in early June.
