Stories and activities will be geared to students in Kindergarten to fifth grade. Siblings and friends are welcome. Children must come with an adult. Registration for 2014-2015 We have begun our registration for the 2014-2015 school year. Call the office at 471-2989 for info. ***Please bring in your voucher renewal if you have received it with a new current proof of residency. They must all be scanned and uploaded to the state's data base, and this is very timeconsuming. The Registration Fee is per family and must be paid to be considered for enrollment for the 21014-2015 school year. $175.00 discount registration from February 1, 2014 to March 17, 2014. $225 when paid after March 17, 2014; and at all other times of the year. Returning Family Registration: $175 discounted registration for next year applies until March 17, 2014. After that day registration is $225. If you decide, by March 31st that your children will not attend St. William School next school year; your entire registration fee will be refunded. Decisions to not re-enroll should be made in writing. Decisions after March 31st will result in no refund of registration fee. Kindergarten Promotional Fee for 2014-2015: There is no promotional registration fee. New Student Registration and Screening: After payment of the appropriate registration fee, new students will be scheduled for screening and a determination of acceptance will take place. Complete student records from previous schools will need to be supplies as applicable. If admission is denied because the St. William School does not have suitable placement, is not a good fit, or we have a problem completing screening and/or receiving records, or the parent decides not to enroll a child by May 30th, $100 of the registration fee will be refunded. After May 30th, no portion of the registration fee will be refunded. Tuition and Fees for 2014-2015 are being updated and are not yet available. Parents of new students will be required to attend a new parent orientation. New students, if enrolled, are accepted on a probationary status. St. William Parish presents Fish Fry 2014 St. William Parish in West Price Hill invites all to experience Fish Fry 2014! Come for the food and stay for the fun. The season kicks off with a "Fat Friday" pre-Lenten celebration on Friday, February 28th from 5:00-8:00PM (dine in only). The Fat Friday menu includes chicken wings, chicken tenders, fried cheese sticks, fried pickles, French fries and potato skins. Beverages and desserts will be available. The fish fry will be open for business all Fridays in Lent except Good Friday (March 7th through April 11th.) Patrons can enjoy dine in, carry out or drive through service. Drive thru hours are 4:00-7:00 p.m.; dine-in service is available from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Fish fry menu items include fried and baked fish, salmon, shrimp, crab cakes, pizza, grilled cheese, fries, potatoes & green beans, mac & cheese & soup of the week. Thank you for supporting the Box Top program at St. William. We earned $831 for our school from your donated Box Tops- keep bringing them in!! Thanks to Mrs. Geil who bundled them up and sent them in. Lent Day Wednesday, March 12 will be Lent Day. Students may wear purple for a $1 donation. Money will go to the missions. Update from Code.org: Code.org turns 1! A year ago, we released a video to inspire students to take interest in computer science. It became #1 on You Tube in one day. Now students have written 1 billion lines of code on Code.org. Celebrate with us Create your own Flappy Bird game and share it! Make your own rules Our new drag-and-drop tutorial lets you build your own Flappy game- whether it’s Flappy Bird, Flappy Shark with Lasers or Flappy Underwater Unicorn. Flappy Bird is a simple game. Using the basics of computer science, any student can create their own version with endless possibilities. Challenge your friends Make a game, play it and share it! Children’s Choir from St. William to perform with the Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra The Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra continues their 18th season with “Magic Flutes” on Sunday, March 9, at 3 PM at the Seton Performance Hall, 3901 Glenway Ave. in Price Hill. This performance includes compositions by Mozart, Bach, Bizet and others that feature the flute. The orchestra will also be joined by soprano Michelle Klug Hillgrove and tenor Larry Reiring, who will lend their voices to the beauty of the afternoon. News from Seton and Elder Tickets are now on sale for “Shrek the Musical”. This is going to be a great show you and your family won’t want to miss!
