GOLF WORLD ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF APRIL 22
MEN’S DIVISION III COACHES’ POLL
Oglethorpe Retains Top Spot
(NEW YORK, NY)—The latest Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll has
been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Golf
Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from
Divisions I, II, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the April 22, 2013 issue of Golf World and are

Oglethorpe, a five-time winner during the 2012-13 season, remained No. 1 in the most
recent Golf World/Nike Golf men's Division III coaches' poll. The Stormy Petrels claimed
nine of the 13 available first-place votes.
Methodist, Illinois Wesleyan and Saint John's (Minn.) all maintained their spots behind
Oglethorpe with Gustavus Adolphus rounding out the top five.
Two teams joined the top 10: No. 7 Guilford and Transylvania, tied at No. 10.
Two new schools joined the top 25: No. 23 Berry and No. 25. Greensboro.
