PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am an enthusiastic and professional community sports development coach
covering mostly Football and working in schools/community/club and college
environments and also development work, who enjoys working as part of a
successful and productive team. I quickly grasp new ideas and concepts, and am
keen to develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. I am able to
work well under my own initiative, and can demonstrate the high levels of
motivation required to meet the tightest of deadlines. Even under significant
pressure, I possess a strong ability to perform both physically and mentally. As
part of the development role I manage volunteer and coaches into programme,
plan workshops, teacher training days and funding opportunity’s.
Also as part of my my full time role I work 15 hour a week Pontefract New
Collage Leading the Football Academy on the B-Tec course, which include,
coaching, matchdays, and Nutrition and Match analysis in classroom settings.
I have also coached in America and Malta to add to my experiences
OBJECTIVE
I am now looking to build on my extensive range of skills, within a suitably
challenging role. I am keen to achieve further professional development.
Including a PGCE and UEFA A Football Badge. I also plan on doing my PGCE
teaching at present

My present role as a Community Sports Coach involves:-





Leading on the Football Development Sessions at Pontefract College, Both
Classroom, admin and coaching aspects (5 days a week)
Development work, running and overseeing a football development
(Future Stars) programme in partnership with Wakefield Schools FA &
Barnsley FC Academy.
Coaching multi sports, which include football, basketball, tennis, gym, ect
to primary schools ages 5-12
Working in schools (curricular/extra curricular & PPA time)
Development work projects ensuring money bids for local groups are
achieved for students to go on courses. i.e. FA level 1
