People are unique and they produce and interpret messages and information in unique ways Note: Psychological mechanism of encoding, decoding, planning, strategizing remembering and imagining are the building blocks of cognitive perspective 2.Interactional Perspective: According to this individual’s behaviour in a given situation with others determines how other individual will behave.. Dysfunctional conflict is undesirable one which tends the people to avoid, communication issues, leads to break in personal and professional relationship. (b) Explain the types of Conflict (7 marks) Goal Conflict: occurs when individual selects or assigned with goals which are incompatible with one another.. Affective conflict: Incompatible feelings and emotions with in the individual or between the individuals in a group(This may be emotional, social or personal conflict also) It consumes lot of energy and block the individual from performance Cognitive conflict: This occurs when ideas and thoughts with in the individual and between the individuals are incompatible… Procedural Conflict :When the group members disagree with procedures to be followed in accomplishing goals (c) Which model of conflict you think is much acceptable in day to day scenario?
