Vacancy (DFP 05)
for our international project in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for short or long term
(senior) lecturers
in
Animal production (dairy and poultry)
to teach in the newly established Dairy and Food Polytechnic in Al Kharj (KSA).
The project with CINOP as lead partner is implemented jointly with the AOC Council,
AOC Friesland and the Aeres Group in the Netherlands.
The level of teaching is equal to MBO 3 - 4 level in The Netherlands or NVQ 3 in the
English system.
The (senior) lecturer will have ample experience in hands-on training both theoretical
and practical, in the field of animal production and husbandry with emphasis on dairy and
poultry production; for dairy with emphasis on topics as animal nutrition, animal health,
bio- security, milk production, housing, AI, calving and young stock, breeding, diseases
and control; as regards poultry topics as housing, mother care, hatchery, breeding,
broiler production, diseases and control, waste management.

Requirements
Candidates have at least a Bachelor in Animal Production or similar, with a specialization
and/or minor in Dairy and/or Poultry Production. They have at least 3 years experience in
teaching of Animal production courses at (Higher) Diploma (MBO) level in English, either
abroad or in the Netherlands. Henceforth must be highly proficient in the English
language. Furthermore, have proven international experience, and good intercultural
communication skills.
We offer
