Patrick Cutshall played three years in the minors after being a four
Jory Coughenour pitched five years in the minors, reaching as high as AA , after setting a University of Pittsburgh record for innings as an amateur. Overall, he was 22-21 in the minor leagues.
In his sophomore year of college, Jory had a 2-2 record, one save and season records for hits (68), doubles (17), home runs (16) and runs a 4.70 ERA. Coughenour won 5 and lost five as a senior, saving one
In his senior year of college, Patrick hit .400 and broke the single batted in (72). Patrick still owns the career records for hits (236), and posting a 4.23 ERA. He had a 2.06 ERA in April, 20th-best in home runs (28), runs batted in (189), runs (182) and is 2 nd with a the NCAA, drawing some interest. Overall, he had fanned 154 career .398 batting average. Showcase, Riley ran a 7.2 60 yard dash and was clocked at 79 mph from the outfield (a day after pitching a complete game). At the Triple
Crown Nationals in Richmond, Virginia, he ran a 7.1 60 yard dash and threw 81 mph from the mound.
