Welcome to YP Futsal Indoor Soccer’s 2015 Season! Dear Team Manager, Thank you for your efforts and contribution toward the YP Futsal 2014 Season. We, the committee, are really excited about getting the season underway on the 7th of May! Season 2015 will be our tenth season of competition and many involved have been there all the way through, enabling an easy adaptation to the minor changes in rules and contributing to the competitions ongoing development of skills, fun, fair play and as a spectacle for supporters. Below are a few important changes and things to remember. Player Registration ONLINE REGISTRATION RECIEPTS, completed Medical Forms and Fees are due by 22 nd April before the season commencement. Online Registration can be completed at www.myfootballclub.com.au then follow the prompts for self registration. Please ensure to enter Yorke Peninsula Futsal (club) as your club, not your team name. Players will NOT be permitted to play unless they have completed these requirements. Payment cannot be done on the night as forms and money needs to be sent away as part of the registration process. Fees stand at; $45 for juniors (17 and under) and $50 for senior players (this is insurance and association fees only, and does NOT include any possible club fees that your team may incur). Please note all players are required to fill out online registration, print their receipt, complete a current medical form and pay this years fees by the 22nd April. Any player who has not completed this requirement will NOT be able to play. The Team Manager/Coach will need to cross out any players names who are absent on the night and write in the details for any players they may be subbing with. Match Fees Match fees will still be collected from the door upon entering the stadium. Match fees are $5 per player. Season tickets for this year are still to be established. FILL IN PLAYERS Fill-ins MUST be a registered player (completed online registration, medical/insurance form and subs paid). If the player is from another team they may fill in a MAXIMUM OF 3 GAMES for your team. Fill in players do not need to pay a second match fee on the night. RULES A basic copy of the rules are included in this pack. A copy of the rules are also available at www.ypfutsal.org.au Providing a referee/line runner A Roster system will be in place each night for ALL Senior teams. Each team must provide a referee at their appointed time. Failure to do so will result in a $20.00 fine to your team. Repeat offenders may incur the loss of penalty points. Senior referees are still required to referee their appointed game even if their team incurs a forfeit or game play changes (if game play and referee time collide changes will be made). Junior teams will be required to supply a referee to referee their games as per the timetable. The referees can be an adult volunteer or capable Junior who have a fair and basic understanding of the rules. Referees who ref 3 games or more in the season are paid at a rate of $5.00 per game to qualified refs (those who did the 2 day Futsal SA ref course). Other referees will be paid at a rate of 2.50 per game. Payments will be made at the end of the season. Code of Conduct By registering as a player all competitors agree to comply with the YP Futsal code of conduct, which does not tolerate unsporting behaviour, misconduct or alcohol on the stadium grounds. Any person in breach of code will be dealt with harshly, possibly including police involvement. Where rough play is put aside, allowing foot work and skills to flourish… where players applaud beautiful play from their opponents… where good sportsmanship is valued more than victory… where coaches give advice and tips to players of all teams… where spectators cheer as loud for the opposition as for their own team. Please discuss these codes and ideals with younger players. A copy of the code should available in this pack and is available at www.ypfutsal.org.au Uniforms – Avoid clashes. New teams or teams changing their colours must have their colours approved. Goals pack-up Each team playing the in the last time-slot for the night is responsible to pack up a goal. Committee Meetings All team managers and/or representatives are welcome and encouraged to attend committee meetings, raise and discuss any matters of interest and/or just simply listen and provide input toward general agenda items of discussion (however unless you are a committee member you will not be able to vote on items).
