ALL ENTRIES TO BE TAKEN ON THE DAY
Ring 1: - RIDDEN: To commence at 9.30am
Class 1: BEST TURNED OUT HORSE OR PONY: To be judged on overall
turn-out of Horse and Rider.
Class 2: LEAD REIN PONY: 12.2hh and under, Rider 9yrs and under.
Snaffle Bridles only, lead rein to be attached to noseband.
Class 3: CHILDS PONY: 14.2hh and under, Rider 16yrs and under. To be
judged on overall manners and suitability as a child’s pony.
Class 4: RIDDEN COB: Any height, Any breed. To be judged on
confirmation.
Class 5: OPEN EQUITATION: Horse or Pony, Any Rider. To be judged on
Rider not Horse.
Not to commence before 11.30am:
Class 6: RIDING CLUB HORSE: Over 14.2hh. To be judged on suitability
for all riding club activities, walk, trot, canter, small jump.
Class 7: COLOURED HORSE OR PONY: Any height, to include Spotted &
Palomino. To be judged on markings, presentation, general manners.
Class 8: RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND: Any Height, any Rider.
Class 9: RIDING CLUB PONY: 14.2hh and under. To be judged on
suitability for all riding club activities, walk, trot, canter and small
jump.
Class 10: OPEN FAMILY HORSE OR PONY: Rider any age. Will be asked
to encounter obstacles as met in everyday life.
Ring 2: - IN-HAND: To commence at 9.30am
Class 11: YOUNG HORSE OR PONY: Any height, Any breed. Horse/Pony
to be 4 years and under. To be judged on confirmation and manners.
Class 12: BEST TURNED OUT HORSE OR PONY: To be judged on overall
turnout of Horse and Rider.
Class 13: VETERAN HORSE OR PONY: Horse/Pony to be 17yrs old or
over. To be judged on condition and manners.
Class 14: MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND: To be shown in natural state.
To be judged on confirmation.
Class 15: BEST CONDITIONED HORSE OR PONY: To be judged on
Horse’s or Pony’s overall condition.
Not to commence before 11.30am:
Class 16: YOUNG HANDLER: Horse/Pony of any height. Handler to be
under 12yrs. To be judged on child’s handling of Horse and showing
technique. Adult may accompany in ring.
Class 17: COLOURED HORSE OR PONY: Any height, to include Spotted
& Palomino. To be judged on markings, presentation, general manners.
Class 18: HORSE OR PONY THE JUDGE WOULD MOST LIKE TO TAKE
HOME: Open class for all competitors. It might be yours!
Class 19: BONNY HORSE OR PONY: Any Breed, Any height, to be
judged on the bonniest!
Class 20: FANCY DRESS: In-Hand or Ridden. Open to all.

RING 3: JUMPING: To commence at 9.30am
Class 21: LEAD REIN JUMPING: Lead rein attached to noseband.
Class 22: NOVICE JUMPING: Approximate height 2’3”
Class 23: INTERMEDIATE: Approximate height 2’6”
Class 24: OPEN: Approximate height 3’0”
Class 25: HORSE & HOUND: 1 round against the clock by Horse and
Rider followed by 1 round by dog & runner. Small jumping course will
be confirmed on the day.
Class 26: PAIRS JUMPING: Approximate height 2’3”
Class 27: PUISSANCE: To be held in MAIN RING time to be confirmed
on the day.
MAIN RING EQUESTRIAN HIGHLIGHTS
Times to be confirmed on the day:
GYMKHANA:
1. POTATO RACE
2. CUP RACE
3. SADDLING
4. SACK
5. WALK, TROT & RUN
Will split into lead rein and non-lead rein races. May also split into age
groups dependant on competitors. ADULT RACE WILL RUN IF ENOUGH
COMPETITORS.
PUISSANCE:
To be held in MAIN RING
Competitors to jump a wall increasing in height if cleared.
£25 to winner plus trophy.
FEES: All classes £4.00 or 3 classes for £10. All payable on the day of
the show.
PRIZES: Rosettes 1st – 6th place, plus sashes for Champions.
Prize money £5 for 1st for ridden & in-hand.
Trophies awarded to 1st place in jumping (not horse & hound)
Puissance: £25 plus trophy to winner.
A team of photographers will be in attendance throughout the day
capturing special moments
