Working Together: Seek common ground, looking for pragmatic solutions, compromises, involving others in decision making, open minded, holding self and others accountable X X X X X X X X X X MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To manage and deliver the following service: To be responsible for the management of the sports team, finance and physical resources to deliver against the activity set out in the Sport England Core Specification and associated contracts To work with National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) in the development and implementation of their Whole Sport Plans locally, through building strategic relationships and partnerships Take the lead in working with the whole Core Team in implementing a co-ordinated model for working with NGBs To develop and interpret local intelligence / insight to ensure effective matching supply and demand around specific interventions locally and to incorporate these into refined delivery priorities. To work with the Partnership’s Managing Director in establishing Oxfordshire wide sport strategies and plans To work with Sports Coach UK and Sport England and other partners in planning and implementation of the Partnership’s work in relation to club development, coaching, workforce, facility, disability To take the lead in developing strategic plans and implementation in club, workforce, coach, facility, disability and sports development To manage and facilitate the delivery of agreed grant funded sport and physical activity programmes (Active Body Healthy Mind), including budget setting and monitoring. Be responsible for the effective management of resources assigned to specific programmes, including monitoring and evaluating effectiveness, impact and budgets (including Sport England’s performance management framework). To secure funding and additional resources to enable the Partnership to more effectively achieve its objectives. Lead on the delivery of key projects and programmes i.e. Active Body Healthy Mind To manage all finances in an effective and efficient manner and submit financial claim forms on time. To take a leading role in Partnership Standards and continuous improvement culture To ensure Partnership policies and practices are adopted and implemented.
