Parent-to-Parent of Kansas Policy on Confidentiality It is the policy of the Parent-To-Parent Program to maintain confidentiality regarding its families. To that end, each staff member and program participant will be required to subscribe to the following statement upon assuring the Supporting parent role. Statement on Confidentiality Protecting our family’s confidentiality is a legal and moral imperative. Confidentiality means that at NO TIME is a family’s name or diagnosis mentioned outside the program unless that family gives permission for their name to be given to other inquiring families or unless it is necessary for the service being delivered to that individual or family. Families Together, Inc. is committed to preserving the privacy and confidentiality of each family. Staff and program participants will be held accountable for the protection of this privacy. Violation of this right to confidentiality by any employee/program participant constitutes grounds for termination of employment or involvement with the Parent-to-Parent program.
