Orchidexpo 2015, le 28 et 29 march au Cégep Maisonneuve
Montréal, le 23 fébuary 2015 – After a long cold winter, there’s nothing like a visit to Orchidexpo
to stimulate your senses : beautiful shapes, tropical colours, wonderful aromas.
For our visual pleasure, hundreds of beautiful orchids are presented in original exhibits and for our
olfactive pleasure, an exhibit of perfumed orchids offers many surprises. Plus discover everything
about vanilla, the only orchid grown as a food product, and also come admire floral arragements,
art works and photos! As this show is also a competition, highly qualified judges from the American
Orchid Society will evaluate the beauty of the orchids, their rarity, their culture and the best will be
honored.
An exceptional selection of orchids will be on sale, with vendors from Québec, Ontario, the U.S.A
and Taiwan. This is the opportunity to find that perfect orchid, as well as advice on growing
techniques from the vendors and members of Les orchidophiles de Montréal, who are the
organizers of this event. Those who wish to take photographs at their leisure are allowed to enter
between 8h and 9h Sunday.
