the world of Parisian Haute Couture, in his time this man redefined the dictates of

as well as traditional watchmaking expertise. At this year’s BASELWORLD expo,
Balmain follows the tradition set out by Pierre Balmain to unleash the most vibrant
glamour in its brand-new timepiece collections.

Balmain Maestria Lady Round
When we glance upon the new Balmain Maestria Lady Round, it is difficult not to admire
its qualities, to remain unmoved by its personality and not to succumb to its charm.
Especially when it is available in eight new models, each more irresistible than the next.
Whether its face is made up in black, white mother-of-pearl or silvered arabesque motifs,
it retains the same sparkling smile. It remains equally appealing whether its body is
covered in diamonds (66 on the case, 12 on the dial), steel, pink PVD or yellow PVD.
Whether its arms are satin or steel, it embodies elegance in all its styles. As for its
arabesque motifs, having danced in the centre of dials, flitted across cases and twisted
across the straps of other Balmain creations, for the first time they make their appearance
here at 6 o'clock.

Balmain Maestria Round Automatic pair watches
"Birds of a feather flock together", as the saying goes. And it is precisely to allow couples
to merge as one that Balmain offers six Maestria Round Automatic models for him and her.
It is customary for couples to wear the same model of watch, as a strong and sincere
gesture of love and a proof of devotion almost as symbolic as a wedding ring. With these
pair watches, the Balmain woman no longer has the prerogative on beautiful watches,

members, specifically designed for women this time. All exude elegance and return to the
arabesque motifs, the firm's core identify, and are also available with a white
mother-of-pearl dial, set off by 12 diamonds.

Elysées Bijou
More than a watch, the Elysées Bijou, the latest creation from Balmain, stands out as an
exceptional object. Its understated appeal and modern design makes heads turn
wherever it goes. Redefining the dictates of fashion, the Saint-Imier firm's designers are
unfaltering. With the Elysées Bijou, they give their own twist to flat design. An ultra-slim
case (6.20mm thick), clean lines and a minimalist dial: perfect harmony to win over fans of
"less is more". And indeed any art lovers. The Elysées Bijou inspires a sense of purity and
inner peace. A feeling amplified by the white satin strap delicately merging with the pink
gold PVD case. In their splendid interpretation, Balmain's designers have also stimulated
perceptions. Firstly, through the discreet reflection of the arabesque motifs on the silvered
dial, and secondly by emphasising the concentric nature of the circle which appears to
create a halo around the hands.

Dream Chrono Lady
The future Miss Switzerland 2014 already has cause for celebration. And to begin to
dream: Balmain has specially crafted the Dream Chrono Lady for the winner of the beauty
contest. A crown for the wrist, this chronograph watch decorated with 68 diamonds
symbolises elegance, charm, femininity, sensuality, daring and determination. To make its
wearer feel like a queen. Balmain has always lit up the catwalk. So no surprise that the
brand has been the preferred partner of the Miss Switzerland competition since 2005. This
chronograph has more than its name to inspire dreams: it sparkles intensely with 68
diamonds, like a star. This watch is an invitation to radiant smiles and pleasure for other
reasons too: the classicism of the Roman numerals, the sensuality of the arabesque
motifs on the silvered dial, the dynamism of the steel of the case and the strap, the

Miss Balmain II
For many years, Miss Balmain has forged a reputation with its model figure. Now, as
svelte as ever, the collection has undergone a barely perceptible change to become Miss
Balmain II. This complementary line, with more adornment while being more elegant and
refined, is designed for more mature ladies. The figure II clearly indicates its close
relationship with Miss Balmain, evident from the rectangular case, central fastener, svelte
silhouette and harmonious dial. However, the Saint-Imier firm's designers have allowed
the newcomers more freedom and to develop more sophistication and maturity. Miss
Balmain II is available in a silvered dial decorated with classical arabesque motifs, white
mother-of-pearl or a black dial. Imposing Roman numerals sometimes adorn 12 o'clock
and 6 o'clock. The case is in steel or two-tone PVD, releasing a cascade of 42 diamonds
down the side of some models. The straps, meanwhile, combine steel and tegu.
