She is desperate to come back to work and is e-mailing each day, with all of her plans for Squirrel class and seeking updates on their progress and well-being. Mrs Nicholas will be with Squirrel Class on Monday and Tuesday this week, we are taking it two days at a time whilst Mrs Dowds health is reviewed. Over the last few months Mr Holman has been very busy at the weekends training to be a Level 3 Forest Schools Leader. Mr Holman has identified and visited a small copse of woods within walking distance of school that is perfect for use as a Forest School site. Mr Holman will be starting to take Badger Class, half the class at a time, to visit the woods and engage in a wide variety outdoor learning experiences. On some of the sessions an assessor will visit to quality assure Mr Holman’s skills and expertise. We are very much hoping that over the coming months we will be able to schedule forest school sessions for all of the classes. Please keep an eye on the Forest Schools page of our website, more information will be coming soon!
