Catholic Directory Introduction
This directory contains information, programs and descriptions of Catholic Churches in the
following Upper Michigan communities: Bark River, Escanaba, Flat Rock, Gladstone, Perkins,
Rapid River and Trenary.
The table of contents includes a host of activities and ministries for youth and adults. It lists
local Catholic libraries and media sources as well as a variety of services, charities, and
opportunities for involvement, volunteerism, and spiritual growth. Everything is listed in
alphabetical order.
Beyond this directory, each parish community represented has its own unique emphasis and
needs. Additional opportunities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
