Sewing Basics

Presents the basics of the Spanish
language. Students learn greetings, basic
vocabulary, pronunciation, and
grammatical structures and get a glimpse
of the Spanish-speaking world, laying the
foundation for further study of the
language.
This class will build on beginning Spanish.
We will add reading and writing to the
curriculum. Students in this class are
ready to use longer phrases and will
transition to simple sentences and the
ability to read in Spanish.
Students will make creative projects and
learn the basics of sewing using a needle
and thread.

concepts including piece movements,
tactical ideas, gaining and winning
position, good sportsmanship, general
rules of play and emphasizes chess as a

This course provides an adventure in
reading stories about the Middle Ages:
Kings, Queens, Knights, Castles, Dragons,
Sword Fights, and Honor. Books include
Robin Hood, The Door in the Wall, Adam
of the Road, King Arthur and the Knights
of the Round Table, The Hawk that Dare
not Hunt by Day, and more. We will also
be using the Complete Writer: Writing
with Skill course.
Experience the history of the Middle
Ages across the globe through stories of
major historical events of the time
period. Class includes story, lecture,
games, maps, hand’s on activities,
timelines, quizzes, and review cards.
Students will learn about the special
features of swimming creatures, the
different watery environments they live
in, what their lifestyles are like, and the
special circumstances they deal with.

workshops are perfect for homeschooled
