Objectives:
At the end of the session, participants must be able to:
Properly perform pleuroscopic evaluation
Identify candidates for various interventional pulmonary medicine procedures:
Transbronchial biopsy
Transbronchial needle aspiration
Airway stenting
Bronchial thermoplasty, electrocautery, apc and leaser
Endobronchial valve placement
Medical Pleuroscopy
Conduct proper performance of endobronchial ultrasound
Identify nodal stations accessible by EBUS-guided needle aspiration
Perform under direct supervision the following bronchoscopic procedures
Transbronchial biopsy
Transbronchial needle aspiration
EBUS-guided needle aspiration
Airway stenting
Bronchial thermoplasty, electrocautery, laser and APC procedures
Endobronchial valve placement
