C ONFIDENTIALITY A GREEMENT
As a participant in the tenure review process for the probationary faculty member listed below, I
understand and agree to keep confidential all information, records and reports utilized as part on
this Probationer’s tenure review I understand and agree that all related committee discussions
and decisions will be kept confidential and shall only be shared with the appointing authority or
his/her designee, as required by law, or as outlined in the Tenure Workbook.
Further, I understand that disclosing information about a Probationer to an unauthorized source is
considered a breach of confidentiality and may violate Bates Technical College’s, Ethical Conduct
Policy (303.3.C).

Once signed and dated this form shall be kept with the original tenure documents.
Should a member be unable to continue to serve on the committee, his/her replacement shall be
asked to sign a Confidentiality Agreement at the time of his/her appointment.
