Clinical Experience:
Anaethesia –General and Obstetric Anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Neonatal
Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia.
Intensive and Critical Care – Management of medical and surgical patients.
Invasive and Noninvasive Ventilator management of critical patients on different
modes of ventilation. Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation. Independent
performance of various interventions like difficult intubation, percutaneous
tracheostomy, pleural tapping, central line insertion, intercostal drain insertion,
suprapubic cystotomy, paracentesis, pericardiocentesis, temporary pace maker
insertion, peritoneal dialysis. Guidance of USG in various interventions and
assessments in the critical care. Diagnostic bronchoscopy in ICU Patients.
Emergency –ALS, BLS, Trauma life support, Transport of patient from the site to
the hospital, Emergency life saving procedures, Coordination with different
specialties in the management of patients.
Chronic Pain management – Spine interventions like intradiscal procedures,
percutaneous vertibroplasty, epidural adhesiolysis etc. Sympathetic ganglion and
nerve blocks, Trigger point injections. Prolotherapy, ozone therapy etc.
Research and publications:
Single dose epidural analgesia with plain bupivacaine and fentanyl or with
morphine or with buprenorphine: a comparative study. NBE/ 2006
Case presentation on blind nasal intubation techniques in TMJ ankylosing patients
with no mouth opening. ISA/ 2009.
Case presentation on role of Ozone discolysis in the patients with lumber disc
herniation. IMA/2010
Neurological Outcome in patients with diffuse axonal injury on ventilator support
with and without paralyzing with muscle relaxant. ( yet to complete)
