The database also contains company profiles, industry reports and market research reports and has full text coverage of five top academic business journals: Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, MIS Quarterly and Journal of Marketing, plus full-text access to Harvard Business Review from 1922 onwards. ScienceDirect® ScienceDirect is a powerful multi-disciplinary database that provides full-text access to 2,000+ multi-disciplinary journal titles published by Elsevier, including prestigious business and management journals, e.g. Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Management, Journal of International Economics, Journal of World Business. Please note: a search of ScienceDirect includes all journal titles within this huge database. Since full text articles are only available from titles to which UB subscribes, your search may retrieve articles you CANNOT access in full-text. SAGE Online Journals / SAGE Premier eJournals SAGE Premier is a large multi-disciplinary journal collection providing full-text access to 700+ journals published since 1999 by SAGE in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, Technology & Medicine. It is an excellent source for research methodology and other texts central to business & management studies, e.g. Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies, Administrative Science Quarterly, and Work, Employment and Society. Wiley Online Library Wiley is another large multi-disciplinary database. The Management Library subscribes to the Business, Economics, Finance and Accounting collection which has 40+ journals and newsletters reflecting these four core areas of specialization. Major journal titles include: British Journal of Management, Economic History Review, European Financial Management, and International Labour Review. JSTOR online journals JSTOR provides archival access to online scholarly journals. The Management Library subscribes to the Business Collection which holds the back-files to 200+ business journals including prestigious titles such as Academy of Management Journal, Econometrica, Journal of Finance, Journal of International Business Studies. Business Monitor International (BMI) BMI is a leading independent provider of specialist business and marketing reports containing analysis, data, ratings, rankings, current updates and forecasts covering over 200 countries and 24 industry sectors. BMI reports include country risk analyses, emerging markets, macroeconomic data and in-depth analyses of the major industry sectors across all leading markets. Euromonitor® Passport Euromonitor is a global market information database and a premier source of international marketing data, offering 18,000+ international reports, plus authoritative statistics on industries, countries and consumers. In addition to general searching, you can search by Industry, with reports listed by market segmentation, or you can search by Countries and Consumers, with reports listed by segmentation, e.g. Consumer Trends, Economy, Finance and Trade. For UK Market Research & UK Company Information KeyNote® (Market Reports) KeyNote comprises of two separate parts: Market Reports and Company Information. Market Reports: 2,500+ market intelligence reports providing key information, e.g. market definition and size, competition analysis, SWOT analysis, market forecasts. Key Note Reports have a UK focus, but many include commentary on the European and global market. Also includes Business Ratio Reports which compare, contrast and analyse the financial performance of leading UK companies. Company Information: provides information on over seven million UK companies, including 5 years’ worth of profit and loss accounts and key ratios. The database includes company accounts, plus details of ownership and management for the largest 2 million active UK and Irish companies. It also includes summary information for a further 220,000 smaller active businesses, plus historical information on 5 million inactive companies. FAME provides up to 10 years of data. Thomson One Banker Analytics Provides financial data for international companies, including accounts for over 28,500 active public limited (or equivalent) companies and 9,500 inactive companies (liquidated or acquired) in more than 55 countries. It also includes Thompson Research reports written by top analysts on international companies, industries and countries. Datastream Datastream is an extensive collection of historical financial data, containing over 40 years of quantitative data for most companies quoted on the stock exchange. Please note: the Library does NOT host or support Datastream.
