SDL University Partner Program Student Purchase
Information and Application Form
Students and graduates (who have graduated within the last 12 months) are entitled to purchase a license
for SDL Trados Studio 2015 Student Edition (1 or 2 year) or SDL Trados Studio 2015 Freelance or SDL
Trados Studio 2015 Freelance Plus at exclusively discounted prices.
Please note that the Studio 2015 Student Edition (1 or 2 year) is a temporary edition with full Studio 2015
Freelance capabilities and is only available to students/graduates that attend universities that are part of
the SDL University Partner Program. Students/Graduates can only purchase a Student Edition licence
once. Upgrades from the Student 1 or 2 year version to the full Freelance version are possible but must be
completed before expiry.
The purpose of this document is to inform students and graduates how to apply for a license at the
discounted rate.
Please read below to identify which scenario relates to you, all prices quoted are excluding VAT*:
1. I am a student and would like to purchase a license of SDL Trados Studio 2015 Student Edition.
My university is part of the SDL University Program.
As your university is already part of the SDL University Partner Program you are entitled to purchase a
license of Studio 2015 Student Edition at a discounted price of:
 Studio 2015 Student Edition (1 year) @ 149 GBP/EUR/USD or 180 CAD
 Studio 2015 Student Edition (2 year) @ 295 GBP/EUR/USD or 355 CAD
2. I am a student and would like to purchase a new license of SDL Trados Studio 2015 Student
Edition.
My university is not part of the SDL University Program/ I am unsure whether my university is part
of the SDL University Program.
If your university is not (yet) part of the SDL University Program, or if you are unsure about this, please
get your course tutor contact SDL about joining the program by sending an email to
education@sdl.com
3. I am a student/graduate and would like to purchase SDL Trados Studio 2015 Freelance or Freelance
Plus.
You are eligible to purchase the full license for Studio 2015 Freelance at the discounted price of 450
GBP/EUR/USD or 540 CAD or the full license for Studio 2015 Freelance Plus at the discounted price of
480 GBP/EUR/USD or 580 CAD.
If you have already graduated, you can still benefit from the discounted rates for up to 12 month after
your final exam.
*Pricing excludes VAT which is
charged at the prevailing Irish rates in addition to the license fee for all European Countries .

Premium Support and Maintenance (PSMA)
We strongly recommend that you also purchase Premium Support and Maintenance Agreement (PSMA)
level 1 for 1 year for only 125 GBP/EUR/USD/CAD. This PSMA contract allows you to contact our Technical
Support team every time you have a technical question. It will also entitle you to receive free updates and
upgrades during validity. (Without PSMA, you will need to consult our Online Support Services, and you
will have to purchase any upgrade separately at the standard online price should a new ersion of the
software be released).
Follow the instructions below in order to purchase your license:

Create your own SDL online account through: https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/

Fill in the order form below and send it to education@sdl.com, along with a copy of your studentid card or a proof of enrolment at your university (letter of admission, etc.)

Once your application has been verified, your order will be processed and you will be sent an
invoice to your email address. When you receive this invoice, please log into your SDL online
account through https://oos.sdl.com/asp/products/ssl/account/ and go to “My orders”. Click on
the order number and you will be able to complete your purchase and pay online.

Once SDL receives the payment, your activation codes will be in the “My Licenses” area of your
SDL account. The files that you need to download and install will be in the “My Downloads” area of
your SDL online account
PLEASE NOTE:
We will disregard any applications that have been partially completed, or when proof of student id has not
been provided. If you realize that you have not sent all the required documentation, please resend all your
completed documents together. Your order will be processed as soon as possible after it has been
validated.
