Queensland Spinners, Weavers & Fibre Artists Ltd
ANNUAL CRAFT WEEKEND 11th-13th JULY 2014
Brookfield Centre – QCCC
179 Gold Creek Road, Brookfield, 4069 Ph 07 3374 1166
We have a special guest, Biggan Ryd-Dups will be teaching steeking on Saturday
from 1-4pm, this is a free session for all campers and day visitors.
It’s time to start planning for QSW&FA’s annual camp at our new venue Brookfield.
This is a beautiful area especially in the winter when we can rug up and wear our
hand crafted winter woollies. We have plenty of room to spread out, and a fireplace
where we can sit and knit. For the early risers, there are bush walks in the grounds
and other facilities available for their entertainment. The local cafe is a short drive
with excellent coffee, worth investigating during the weekend.
Saturday Night Dinner Theme: To carry on the tradition of dressing in Hand Craft
for dinner the theme for 2014 is your interpretation of Ties that Bind. So maybe your
interpretation is to wear an item a friend or family member made for you or your first
project. Think about friends, family, your love for craft, something that has a story.
