RCBA/RABO Referees Clinics – 2015 RCBA Basketball Season
For Friday, the majority of the Clinic will be held in the classroom. All
participants are to bring with them a binder, paper & pen. Each will require runners, a
Fox 40 Mini (or Classic) whistle and lanyard. All participants need to dress in clothing
that is conducive to officiating – stretch pants and t-shirts; a towel and snacks are
recommended. Some classroom sessions will take place or have sections in the gym.
For Saturday, participants will be in the classroom and on the court officiating
games, either shadowing an official or being the official with mentor support. All
participants must be dressed accordingly and have the necessary whistle and lanyard.
This RCBA Clinic Session is for participants that are NEW or have 5 or less
years of experience. It is set to offer knowledge and skills for newer officials (5 or less
years of experience) to refereeing the basketball game.
