JUNIOR SEDAN PROMOTIONS ASSOCIATION SERIES 2015/16
The following regulations will apply to the JSPA 2015/2016 Series.
DRIVERS AND PARENTS MUST:
Read these regulations and sign accordingly before racing at your first round of the series. You must
also fill out an entry form, sign and present with these supplementary regulations.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CHAMPIONSHIP/SERIES POINTS
For any driver to be eligible for any points in the series, they MUST be a financial member of the
JSPA. If you are not a member of the JSPA you will only be eligible for the round prizes if you pay the
entry fee of $20 at the round and not for any Series points, Championship points or end of year
Series and Championship prizes.
This Series will be run for both A and B Grade divisions.
There will be a Series nomination fee payable of $20 by attached form.
SERIES PRIZES AT EACH ROUND
JSPA JUNIOR A GRADE ROUNDS
1st prize fuel voucher for $70 plus sash
2nd prize fuel voucher for $50 plus sash
3rd prize fuel voucher for $30 plus sash
Random draw at presentation of $30 fuel voucher (driver must be present to collect or it will be
redrawn) First three are ineligible for this.
JSPA JUNIOR B GRADE ROUNDS
1st prize fuel voucher for $70 plus sash
2nd prize fuel voucher for $50 plus sash
3rd prize fuel voucher for $30 plus sash
Random draw at presentation of $30 fuel voucher (driver must be present to collect or it will be
redrawn) First three are ineligible for this.
JSPA - BOTH DIVISIONS COMBINED
1 x $50 Proflow voucher by random draw of combined remaining drivers (A and B) excluding first
three and recipient of $30 fuel vouchers for both divisions. (Driver must be present to collect or it
will be redrawn.)
Every driver will receive fuel/gate reimbursement to value of $30 including placegetters

CAR ROOF NUMBERS
The Series will run roof numbers which will be allocated when nominating for the first round.
NOMINATIONS
Preferred method of nominating for each round of the series is via Nominations on the Team App or
alternatively by contacting the JSPA Secretary Kellie Atkins on 0438 577 161 or email her at
atkinsmadhouse@bigpond.net.au by 8 pm Sunday night prior to each round.
You must speak to Kellie directly and NOT leave a message on message bank.
You can also enter for particular rounds or the entire Series by nominating via Team App.
DO NOT NOMINATE TO HOST TRACK FOR ANY ROUND OF THE SERIES
If you nominate after 8 pm, it will be deemed a late entry, the result being that you will start your
heats from the rear of field.
If you enter a round and cannot attend, you MUST contact Kellie during the week prior to the round,
so she knows you cannot come. Failure to do this will result in a loss of 50 Championship points.
Similarly, if you enter and don’t turn up to two consecutive rounds without notification you will be
deleted from that Series and it will result in the loss of all series points.
APPEARANCE ON RACE DAY
All pre-nominated drivers will be required to be at the track 90 minutes prior to the advertised start
time of the race meeting (unless notified you are running late.)
BONUS POINTS

Each driver who is at the track before the deadline time will receive 20 bonus points. These points
will be added to your Championship points total, but not have any effect on grid positions at each
round.
Driver profile sheets fully filled in together with a photo of your car and handed in prior to your first
race meeting that you participate in the Series will result in 10 bonus points.
PRESENTATIONS AND DRIVERS BRIEFING
All drivers will be required to attend driver’s briefing in their full race suits with them done up.
There will be a roll call done at driver’s briefing each time. Series place getters will be required to
attend presentations in their race suits with the zip fully done up. There may be photos taken and it
looks more professional. Failure to have race suit on will result in loss of 15 Series points. Failure to
attend presentations by placegetters will result in a loss of 30 Series points.
HEAT RACE DRAWS AND FINALS
Each Series round will consist of 3 x 8 lap heats. Drivers will receive a front middle and rear draw in
their heats. The third heat may be subject to change if less than 10 cars are available for each heat
race. The laps for that heat will be the number of cars plus one if less than 10 cars.
The top 18 cars determined by heat race points (SSA point score) will compete in a minimum 15 lap
final unless advised otherwise at track driver meetings. The Junior “B” final may be a minimum of 12
laps unless otherwise advised.
There will effectively be two points scores, SSA point score to ascertain grid positions for the final at
each host venue and the JSPA Series point score to ascertain the JSPA Champion of the Year which is
awarded at season’s end at an award night, date and venue to be advised. The Series points will be
for both heats and final –
30,29,28,27,26,25,24,23,22,21,20,19,18,17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.
All drivers who greet the green flag for both heats and final will receive points in the order that they
finish of drop out. Therefore, it is not necessary to cross the finish line to receive points.
JUNIOR B GRADE DRIVERS
Will be eligible to race in the Series but where there fails to be enough entries to field a Junior B
Grade field on a Series night can choose to run with the A Grade Juniors.
At rounds where a Junior B Grade division is offered, Junior B Grade can choose to run with the A
Grade Division but will NOT be able to return to Junior B Grade division at future race meetings.
There is a criteria information sheet attached to this Entry Form regarding eligibility for B Grade
drivers for any JSPA event.
SHARED CARS
Some cars are shared by two siblings which is fine. All efforts will be made to ensure that there is no
clash of draws for shared cars. It will be up the Parent/Guardian to decide who will drive in the final
should it be necessary to make that choice.
SERIES SPONSORS STICKERS
Each Series driver will be provided with a visor sticker which must be placed on your vehicle on the
front visor. If there is no visor on the car then it shall be placed immediately above the visor area.
Failure to do this will result in no Series points for that round. If the JSPA are required to provide
more than the first initial visor sticker to a driver then there may be a additional charge of $20 to
that driver.
BEHAVIOUR

No abuse of track or JSPA officials will be tolerated. Loss of total round points could occur.
Speedway Australia Code of Conduct applies to every race meeting you attend.
Black flags for undue rough driving will result in an automatic loss of 100 Series points. Right of
appeal to the Steward is per the SSA current Racing Rules and Regulations booklet.
BEST PRESENTED CAR AND CREW
JSPA voting slip will be given to Club Chief Scrutineer of the Host Club and will be collected in a
sealed envelope by a JSPA official at each Series round. This award forms part of the Annual Dinner
end of season presentations.
JSPA DRIVER’S DRIVER AWARD
Voting slips will be handed to JSPA members at each round and must be returned to JSPA official
prior to receiving any prize or remuneration from the Host Club or JSPA. This award forms part of
the Annual Dinner end of season presentations. No voting slip returned = no prize money.
