Lynch Family Legacy Scholarship

Due March 14, 2014


Scholarship applicants are chosen based on their academic performance, athletic accomplishments and community involvement.
They also must submit an essay and 3 letters of recommendation. Financial need is also considered. Through a partnership with the
Anna and John J. Sie Foundation, the JLF presents 2 awards worth $5,000 each to student athletes who are physically or
developmentally challenged.
B. Davis Scholarship
Due 5/26 $1,000 For 11TH 12TH Graders

To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below:

Discuss, in less than 1000 words, Pick a controversial problem on high school or college/university campuses and
suggest a solution.


Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship
but scholarship selection committee would like to know your current academic standing.

The 100 Black Men of America Future Leader Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors as well as college freshmen,
sophomores, juniors and seniors. The scholarship is based on academic achievement and community service. For more details,

The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is designed to give the financial assistance to student leaders, who can not afford to

LAGRANT Foundation Scholarships are targeted toward minority undergraduate and graduate students, offering scholarships for
students interested in careers in advertising, marketing, public relations, anthropology, or art. Students must be American
Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black (non-Hispanic) or Hispanic. For more details, visit

The Coca-Cola Pay It Forward Scholarship Program (funded by Steve Harvey) offers scholarship awards and once-in-a-lifetime
apprenticeship experiences to African American youth looking to pave the way for their futures. The deadline for this scholarship is

These scholarship programs are giving away scholarship awards as high as $10,000 per student, and so students are encouraged
