PERSONAL STATEMENT
Please note:Decisions on who will participate on Aurora are based entirely on your Personal
Statement. Where more than 20 applications are received, Personal Statements will be blind scored
by an Aurora Assessment Committee. Personal Statements will be scored out of 100 and ranked.
The top 20 ranked applications will be offered places on the Aurora programme commencing in
Dublin in Spring 2016.
Please use the space below to complete your Personal Statement. Please avoid the use of names
in this part of your application which will be blind assessed if more than 20 applications are

You must address each of the following questions in your Personal Statement:




What development needs and/or leadership challenges are you experiencing in your current
role?
How do you perceive Aurora would support you in addressing these needs/challenges?
What outcomes do you expect to achieve from your engagement with the Aurora
programme?
What leadership training have you undertaken to date? Where participants have previously
undertaken leadership training, they need to indicate the appropriateness of Aurora to their
current development needs/leadership challenges.
