Welding Engineering and Consultancy Service
Changes in recent years to directives and legislations have seen welding quality and specifications become a more stringent and onerous requirement in today’s manufacturing market. Our fully qualified and experienced team of Welding Engineers can offer a full technical review of specifications and design and then identify any specific and product standard requirements of your manufacturing needs. Services also include development and support for any welding procedure and welder approval qualification testing programmes.

Welding Qualification Service
Zurich Laboratory Services are able to deliver an unrivalled level of service for witnessing, testing, and certification of welding qualifications under our UKAS scopes of accreditation.
We are also appointed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTi) under the Pressure

Laboratory testing is an essential part of quality control and materials and weldments are no exception. Our UKAS laboratory offers full mechanical, corrosion and chemical analysis testing for material and weldments. Testing methods to all major standards; including EN

Failure Analysis
Unfortunately even with all the right precautions sometimes manufactured products still fail in services for a wide variety of reasons. Zurich Laboratory Services is able to offer a failure analysis investigation service to establish the root causes of the failure mechanism(s). Our highly experienced team of metallurgists offer detailed reports as well as helping with preventative techniques to reduce the likelihood of future in service failures.
