be her friend?

much fun! But on the camp-out, Amy gets a bad tummy ache. She feels awful. Will her friends still like
her-even if she’s no fun at all?
Willimena Rules!
Book 1- How to Lose your Class Pet, p.88, 2003-Mrs. Sweetly was the meanest teacher in the Harriet
Tubman School. Oh, and did I also mention she was going to be my third-grade teacher?! After the first
day of school, I knew I had to have a Secret Plan: To Get Mean Old Mrs. Sweetly to Like Me! That’s
when I decided to be very helpful and volunteer for everything. So when I, Willimena Thomas, sweetly
volunteered to take care of Lester, our class guinea pig, I had no idea it would begin the worst weekend
of my life….
Book 2- How to Fish for Trouble, p.88, 2004-Here’s how the trouble began. It was the day before spring
break, and Teddy, my favorite cousin, was coming to stay for the week! Anyway, my dad said we were
going kite flying, fishing, and even bird-watching. But the whole week my dad spent more time with
Teddy than with me, and Teddy and my big sister, Tina, left me out of EVERYTHING!!!! So you can see
how Teddy went from being TEDDY F.C. (FAVORITE COUSIN) to T.T.T. (TEDDY THE TERRIBLE). So….when
it came time to go fishing for trouble, I didn’t have to go far. Teddy was my bait.
Book 3- How to Lose Your Cookie Money, p.105,2004-This is not part of the Girl Scout Law, but it should
be: a Girl Scout never, ever loses her cookie money. She always keeps it in a safe place, like in a box in
her sock drawer or someplace like that. She never, ever takes it out of her sock drawer unless she’s
counting it or adding more cookie money to it. And take it from me, Willimena Thomas, Girl Scout:
under no circumstances should you ever, ever spend your cookie money. You may be saying to yourself,
“I would never spend my cookie money.” But I never thought I would either, until….
