Dennis Stevens Dennis is the Vice President, Service Delivery Systems for Charter Communications. He has spent over 25 years leading technology development, deployment and operations for some of the world’s best companies. These include Charter Communications, Comcast, Johnson & Johnson, and others. Dennis is currently responsible for operating Charter’s OSS/BSS systems, Residential and Commercial portal and email systems, Security Operations, and Application support. Dennis believes strongly in giving back. He’s had several wonderful mentors throughout his career (men and women), and has repeatedly been delighted to mentor others as he generally gets as much out of it as he gives to it. One mentor asked him to list who was most influential in his management development and success, then asked him who would list Dennis? That was a simple but powerful question that has motivated him to make the time for programs like these in order to give back what he has learned from others. Dennis’ approach to mentorship is first meeting the person where they are. Then understanding where they want to go, then helping them shape a plan to get there. That could involve simply being a sounding board or good listener, to a more active role in career planning. He believes each person is responsible for their own career, so at the end the day you are accountable for your results, but also knows that experience and relationships can influence those outcomes in significant ways. Dennis is based in Greenwood Village, CO and is willing to be flexible on meeting days/times based on everyone’s schedules.
