Expressions of Interest for Disposal of Clinical Waste States of Jersey Transport and Technical Services Department 1 The States of Jersey Transport and Technical Department Expressions of Interest for Clinical Waste Disposal Section 1 Introduction The States of Jersey is going to tender to find companies able to dispose of clinical waste produced on Island, and invites expressions of interest from companies that are able to provide this service. The States of Jersey will seek to export approximately 200 tonnes of Clinical Waste per year. At present it is anticipated that Clinical Waste will be packaged and received by the UK disposal site in 770 litre yellow clinical waste wheelie bins - UN approved for public transportation. Identify the locations of sites able to receive and process Clinical Waste Identify the means by which companies are able to receive and process Clinical Waste Identify any information companies able to receive and process Clinical Waste may need from the Authority before confirming they are able to accept Clinical Waste produced on Island Section 2 Instructions Companies are requested to complete the questionnaire at section 3 of this document. If your company can offer more than one Clinical Waste disposal site then please complete the questionnaire for each site making it clear in the labelling of the documents as to which site the response refers to. Companies are required to upload their response to this EOI via the E-Portal which can be found at www.tenders.gov.je The closing date for EOI returns is 24/11/15 at 12.00pm IMPORTANT INFORMATION Once the information requested has been received it will be used to form tender documents for the Clinical Waste disposal tender as well as the sea freight and road haulage part of this project.
