PAGEANT INFORMATION
Pageant: The pageant will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the Glynn Middle
School Gymnasium, 635 Lanier Blvd., Brunswick, GA 31520. The doors will open at
9:30 a.m. Please arrive fifteen minutes before your division begins. We do not wait for
late comers. Please have hair and make-up done in advance. There will be a small
dressing room provided. No men will be allowed in the dressing room. Due to limited
space, please only the mother or female guardian of contestant to assist in dressing.
Pageant Admission: Adults-$6.00, Students (Pre K-12th grades) $3.00 and children (0-3
years) FREE. Each contestant will receive one FREE ticket at registration for a parent or
guardian to attend.
Registration: Please mail or return the Entry Fee, Entry Form, Events Form and Best
Wishes Sheet (if participating in People’s Choice) Photo, and Photo Fee to: Ann R.
Harrell, 688 Emanuel Church Road, Brunswick, GA 31523 by the deadline of Monday,
October 12, 2015. Please call if delivering, 912-577-7619 between the hours of 9:00
a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12. Please do not send cash in the mail. Checks or
money orders are to be made payable to: Ann R. Harrell/For: Miss Golden Isles
Scholarship Fund.
Pageant Divisions and Times:
10:00 a.m.-Baby Miss (0-11 mos.) and Toddler Miss (12-23 months)
11:00 a.m.-Wee Miss (2-3 years) and Tiny Miss (4-6 years)
1:00 p.m.-Little Miss (7-9 years) and Junior Miss (10-12 years)
Winners: There will be a Queen and four runners-up in each division in each pageant.
Each Queen will receive a tiara and trophy. Runners-up will receive a trophy. Those
who do not place will receive an Honorable Mention trophy. All Queens will be
presented at the 2016 Miss Golden Isles and Miss Golden Isles’ Outstanding Teen
Pageant which will be held at the Ritz Theatre in downtown Brunswick on Saturday
evening, 6:30 p.m., November 14, 2015.
Optional Events Awards: There will be a Prettiest Dress, Prettiest Smile, Prettiest Hair
and Prettiest Eyes Award Winner in each division. Each winner will receive a trophy.
Photogenic Award: There will be a Photogenic Winner in each division who has
contestants participating. Photos may be black and white or color but cannot be any
larger than an 8x10. All photos and photo fees must be turned in on or by the registration
deadline of Monday, October 12. Photos may either be emailed as an attachment to:
missgoldenisles@yahoo.com or mailed with the Entry Form, Entry Fee, Events Form and
Best Wishes Sheets. Photos will be judged the week of the pageant and will be returned
to you at the pageant. The contestant who receives the photogenic award for her division
will receive a trophy.
People’s Choice Award for selling Best Wishes: A People’s Choice Award will be given
to the contestant in each pageant who participates in collecting the most money in Best
Wishes. Such as: Baby Miss People’s Choice. Each winner will receive a trophy. The
attached Best Wishes Sheet may be copied if additional sheets are needed. All Best
Wishes Sheets and Money collected must be turned in by the registration deadline of
Monday, October 12, 2015. All patrons will be included in the program book. Please
include patrons address on Best Wishes Sheet if tax receipt requested.
Proceeds will benefit the Miss Golden Isles Scholarship Fund.

I hereby certify that the Miss Golden Isles Board, facility or anyone associated with the pageant is
not responsible for the contestant’s personal injury, personal property damage, theft or loss to and
from this pageant. The contestant will abide by the judges’ decisions and accept them as final.
The contestant will not show poor sportsmanship (this will include any family members and
friends who attend the pageant with the contestant.) I agree that if poor sportsmanship is
shown by the contestant or those with the contestant, the contestant will be disqualified
from the pageant. The contestant agrees to act in a dignified manner and will respect those in
authority and will respect the property of Glynn Middle School. We will not bring drinks or food
in the school gym, dressing room or restrooms. I understand that no refunds will be given for any
money that I have paid. If I pay by check and the bank refuses to honor my check, I will be
contacted by a pageant official and will be required to pay cash before allowing the contestant to
compete in the pageant.
