Fire Extinguishers
Red (Water)
Class ‘A’ fires – Wood, Paper, Textiles and Fabric.
Water is still one of the most useful and cost effective of all available fire extinguishers .
Cream (Foam)
Class ‘A’ fires – Wood, Paper, Textiles and Fabric.
Class ‘B’ fires – Petrol, Diesel, and Oils.
Spray Foam extinguishers are suitable for both Class A & B fires. Spray Foam has the ability to reduce the
risk of reigniting. Once the fire has been extinguished the foam effectively seals the vapours at the same
time as cooling the fire.
Blue (Dry Powder)
Class ‘A’ – Wood, Paper, Textiles and Fabric.
Class ‘B’ – Petrol, Diesel, Oils
Class ‘C’ – Butane, Methane, Propane.
Electrical fires i.e. Computers & Faxes
Dry powder is a highly versatile Class A, B & C fire-fighting medium suitable for most risks. In addition to

performance and cleanliness. Because the gas is harmless to delicate equipment and materials, is ideal for
modern office environments, all electrical risks and where oils, spirits, solvents and waxes are in use.
